Renter Rules To Remember

1 Never overload the roll-off above the fill line. Keep an eye on where this line is to make sure dumpsters are not overstuffed with debris. This ensures that our staff are not prevented from doing their job safely. Debris not able to be closed up may fly out onto the road, endangering our staff and other motorists upon transport to the dump site after pick-up.

4Never try to move a roll-off dumpster or a portable toilet on your own. Moving the product is dangerous and can cause damage to the product we are renting out to you.

2 Do not let children or pets play near the roll-off dumpster. The dumpster, as well as its contents, are dangerous if mishandled. Curious kids may try to climb in and end up hurting themselves. Create the surrounding area of the dumpster as a “danger zone” where tiny toes and little paws should avoid during the entire time the roll-off is present.

5 Whether this is your first time renting a dumpster or you are a seasoned roll-off renter, remember to always follow the rules to ensure the best roll-off rental experience and avoid any unwanted additional costs.

3 Waste should be distributed evenly in the container to safely maximize its use. This is why it is very important to choose the correct roll-off size before renting. Do not be afraid to ask our staff if you have any questions about sizing. If you have already rented your dumpster, consider calling us to pick-up your dumpster early if it is getting full faster than you anticipated.

6 Hazardous waste materials are not allowed in our roll-off dumpsters. Regular and hazard waste cannot be mixed because they cannot be disposed of the same way. Fees will be added if this is not followed.

Dumpster Sizes

15-Yard

Our smallest dumpster measures 14-feet long, 4-feet tall, and 8-feet wide. The 15-yard roll-off is the perfect size dumpster for any smaller project’s waste. It is ideal for small construction or home renovation projects where there will not be much construction debris and available space to fit a dumpster is limited.

20-Yard

Measuring 14-feet long, 6-feet tall, and 8-feet wide, the 20-yard dumpster is ideal for small to mid-size construction projects where there is not much space for a dumpster.

30-Yard

Measuring 21-feet long, 6-feet tall, and 8-feet wide, a 30-yard dumpster is perfect for the average demolition job. Because of its size, it requires a good bit of space at the job site.

40-Yard

Our largest dumpster measures 21-feet long, 8-feet tall, and 8-feet wide. The 40-yard roll-off requires a lot of space at the job site to fit it, but it will be perfect to fit all of the debris needs that come with large-scale projects.

Just because it is waste does not mean it can be disposed of the same as other waste. Don’t put the following items in your roll-off rental:

How to Prevent a Dumpster Fire

No one wants a dumpster fire on their hands while they are busy working on a project, but it can happen if you are not careful. Think ahead and make sure you and your workers are taking precautions necessary to minimize risks. If a fire does break out, remember to call 9-1-1 immediately.
Do not place products like pressurized aerosol cans, burning items, and hazardous waste in the dumpster. This can prevent dumpster fires from starting and getting out of hand.
Keep your dumpster several feet away from any combustible walls, windows, or other building opening to avoid a dumpster fire from spreading if it does ignite.
Remember to prohibit smoking and the use of heat around a dumpster. Flicking a cigarette bud or tossing debris still burning from a fire pile into one of our roll-off dumpsters can cause the trash inside to ignite. Workers should stay clear of the dumpster zone when taking their smoke breaks.

Measure the Work Site

Before scheduling, make sure you have enough concrete or hard surface area at or near the work site to fit the dumpster you are considering renting. Take the time to measure out how much available space you actually have. Review our roll-off dumpsters’ dimensions (see Dumpster Dimensions) to make sure its measurements will fit. Remember to leave room for a “danger area” around all sides so nothing gets hit or scratched.
